Rethink Waste

Sign up at the link in our bio to volunteer at the Campus Race to Zero Waste football game on Saturday, October 19! We will need help between 12:00 and 7:30. This is a red out game, and while most volunteer events would provide new t-shirts, we ask that you either bring your own or request one from the Spider Exchange to rethink our consumption!

Did you know the Spider Exchange has a garden!? Remember to consider not just where the things you consume and dispose of go, but also where they come from! Eating local (or growing some of your own food) produces much less waste and emissions, and it’s almost always healthier and far more delicious! Talk to local farmers or volunteer at community gardens to become more connected with the food system and your environment.
