Residential Composting Program

Residential composting is available upon request for all Gateway Village Apartments and University Forest Apartments residents. If you’re interested in participating, please email rethinkwaste@richmond.edu.

Compost collection bins are located at the IM Fields dumpster enclosure and the UFA 476 dumpster enclosure. 

All compost guidelines listed on this page apply to residential composting.

• Please only include food and items you know to be compostable.
• Please take your collected compost out to the collection site at least once a week.
• Residential pickup is scheduled for Fridays.
